In 2019 ELFT sought to enter a 5-year partnership arrangement with an innovative service provider who could offer significant added value and provide Hard FM Services throughout London, Luton and Bedfordshire. Rydon had previously provided services throughout the Luton and Bedfordshire region for a four-year period from 2016 under a separate arrangement with the Trust.
Scope of services include: Trust Wide Helpdesk, all PPM and reactive Hard FM Services for Bedfordshire, Luton and London to encompass boilers/heating and air conditioning for three main forensic sites, namely: John Howard Centre in Hackney, Wolfson House and the Lodge. Services are delivered in relation to plumbing, boilers/heating, air conditioning, flooring, painting and decorating, partitioning, custom made furniture, roofing and guttering, doors and door furniture, general maintenance, glazing, ironmongery, access control/electronic door repairs, CCTV/Access Control (fobs), fire alarms, fire alarm monitoring, lifts, locksmiths, lighting, power, emergency lighting, PAT Testing.
The contract scope includes the mobilisation for the new London region to include medium secure facilities during the onset of the pandemic. Following a successful mobilisation, asset verification was fully accomplished within the originally agreed timeframe.
The contact encompasses 56 properties and mixed facilities across three counties including Greater London, where we worked collaboratively with the Trust to ensure any contract variations were identified, agreed and dealt with promptly.
